A delegation from the Italian city of Rofina visits the municipality of Beit Sahour ِ Eng. Mazen welcomed the delegation to the city of Beit Sahour, the city of the Shepherds’ Field, and praised the positive relations that have contributed to the agreements signed between the municipality and several Italian cities. Eng. Mazen added that the visit was representative of the municipality of Beit Sahour's desire to develop international relations through establishing and strengthening friendships with countries around the World. For his part, the head of the Italian delegation expressed his appreciation for the warm reception, and declared that a delegation consisting of one hundred and fifty young men and women from Italy would visit Beit Sahour in March 2008 within the parameters of a cultural exchange program. They also discussed the possibility of signing a twinning agreement between the two municipalities Rofina and Beit Sahour. At the end of the meeting, the two parties exchanged gifts. The delegation also visited a number of historical and religious sites in the city, including Osh Ghorb, Dar Qumsieh, and Beit Sahour Cultural and Heritage Center “Dar Dakarat”. |
An Italian delegation made up of ten representatives, including the Deputy Mayor of Rofina, Mr. Sefano Passiatore, and Father Fiasal Hegazen, recently visited the municipality of Beit Sahour, where they were received by the Acting Mayor Eng. Mazen Al Shomali and Eng. Hussam Salsa’, a member of the Municipal Council.
