Create a Piece of Peace in Beit Sahour
The direct beneficiaries of this grant will be around 5,000 youth from Beit Sahour and the surrounding communities while the indirect beneficiaries are estimated to be around 50,000 total population of Beit Sahour and the surrounding towns and villages. |
On Thursday November 8, 2007, the Mayor of Beit Sahour Mr. Hani Al- Hayek has signed a Support Agreement with the OTI/ ARD - a program supported by the USAID. The OTI has agreed to fund the amount of $77, 323 to be used to complete the rehabilitation of Osh Grab Area, a former Military base and convert it into a park through the provision of benches, landscaping, gates, shades, sound system and recreational activities.
