Visit from the Minister of Youth-Italy, Ms. Giorgia Meloni
Her delegation included the Consul General of Italy, Mr. Luciano Pezzotti, the Mayor of Castelsardo, Mr. Franco Currureddu; a slew of other Italian mayors; and a large number of press and media individuals. Her Excellency, Ms. Meloni toured the Fashion and Textile Institute in Beit Sahour; making intelligent and insightful inquiries, she pledged to support to the organization. The Fashion and Textile Institute, founded in 1994, trains youth fashion design and pattern making. The Italian Delegation, hosted by the Fashion and Textile Institute, enjoyed lunch at the Tent Restaurant and included the mayor of Beit Sahour Mr. Hani Al-Hayek. Beit Sahour Municipality has enjoyed a Friendship Cooperation with Castelsardo since 2006.
