Dear Fellow Citizens , Friends of Beit Sahour and Palestine,

Especially at this time, we are reminded that our shepherd ancestors were chosen by the One to proclaim the Good News. In keeping with tradition and upholding the responsibility bestowed upon us by God, the people of Beit Sahour proclaim:

"For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace" Isaiah 9:6.

We invite you to rejoice and be glad: Jesus, the Prince of Peace is among us. In Beit Sahour, we have lived, prayed and worked together in peace, understanding and love. Consequently, many of our goals were accomplished through the determination and hard work of our staff, the support and encouragement of the community and the generosity of our friends, both local and international. Humbly and respectfully, we give thanks.

We pray that in the coming season we can rejoice in the birth of Our Savior simultaneously with the birth of an independent Palestinian nation.
